The mission of Middle Passage Arts is to highlight the beauty and talent of works by folk and indigenous artists of the Caribbean. Our name honors the resilience of our ancestors from one generation to the next.  It historically contextualizes the works of art and sheds light on the roots of resourcefulness and resistance that have nurtured the Caribbean’s creative soil. 

 

Our dream is to bring the art of the Caribbean to the greater international community through sharing the stories, lives, creativity, and wisdom of Caribbean artists.
